On what subject(s) are you an authority?
Since I have spent the last 46 years participating in every aspect of theatre, from acting to design to directing, I would have to say that I am an authority on Theatre. I’ve always concentrated in directing, whether as a student or as faculty, and that would be my specialization.
Also, since 2006 I’ve been a resident of Second Life and have done poetry readings as well as serving as a progressive rock DJ. My main claim to fame, however, has been staging a series of plays: The Perm, The Bacchae, my own Aliens! 3 Miles, Turn Left and Immaculate Misconceptions, and most recently, Prometheus Bound. Artifacts of most of these can be found on my YouTube channel, stephenschrum.
A challenge for the future is to bring the VR work out of Second Life and into the new venture, StoryZ. There’s a demo of a Faust Study Scene currently being worked on by John Paul Ritchey, and I would like to find ways to use VR in live theatre and film productions for StoryZStudios. (I just rescued my green screen from my storage unit the other day!)
And if you needa speaker on Catholic school, I’m your go-to person there. Bless you if you bring me to your town on tour!
Please feel free to comment (or offer speaking gigs), and I truly value your likes and follows!
What do you think about VR theatre becoming a more accessible way for larger audiences to appreciate the artform?

It’s possible though a method of creating a virtual space with technology that allows audiences to be aware of each other is a challenge
