What are your favorite emojis?

I actually don’t use that many emojis. 😔 When they first appeared as emoticons, I did the typical smiley face 🙂 or frowny face 😦 in emails. And of course there’s the flirty one. 😉

For loving messages there’s always the ❤️, especially with cats 😻, and I often express sarcasm or let people in on the joke with the 😉. Not to mention the number of times things make me 🙄. But other than occasionally needing a very specific emoji for something [no example given], I tend to rely on words/text.

I’m not sure why this is. Maybe it’s because, when I started texting, emojis weren’t really available. Remember, my PDA/cell phone usage goes back to the Blackberry and flip phones. Those who are younger, with all the emojis at their thumbtips from the beginning, likely relied on them more heavily. At least that’s my theory.

So if you are 😳 to see me text with many 👽🧟‍♂️🧛‍♀️s, you may have to wait a long ⏳. I’d really have to 🚂 myself to do it quickly, and I’m not that fast at 🔍ing for them. And I wouldn’t want my results to be 💩 with me left behind the 🎱. Not to mention I’d spend half my 🕰 wondering what the 🔥 some of these emojis mean. They’re so small and I can’t see that well; I mean: 🏊‍♀️? That would just 🐜 me.
