The Play’s The Thing

I’ve worked with WordPress before, but am re-learning how to post items in new pages. Case in point: The Plays page, with links to some of my self-published plays along with some free plays for perusal. A couple of the links go to my old website which is woefully outdated (for example, a link to a “plays” site now goes to a page dealing with addictions….

One of the things I need to figure out is which template to use in creating these pages; I may have to make my own. I mean, can a playwright serve up his plays with a restaurant style. Perhaps not, as I need to add more information, such as telling you more about Aliens! 3 Miles, Turn Left.

The Abbey Theatre in Dublin, OH contacted me about producing an online version of the show, which they did. And then I found out the play was selected as a finalist for the Best Script, by The Red Curtain International Good The@tre Festival, an online play festival. Unfortunately, we were not eligible for judging when the show could not be performed because the actors were quarantined for COVID-19. Still, it was an incredible honor to be selected.
