Packing!

What are you doing this evening?

Not my favorite thing, but this evening I’ll begin the packing process for our trip to the UK. Blog entries will be spotty at best as we wend our way through England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland.

The challenge here is to pack for the duration, assuming no laundry facilities, or time for doing laundry, along the way. Also, the nature of the trip (bus to various hotels) suggests I need a method to open the suitcase, take out what I need for the day, and close it up.

I’ve purchased new suitcases for the trip, so with any luck they will serve us well, and in the future. Although I checked, and there were no “best practices for this kind of trip” instruction card hidden inside. And no, I don’t think I’m going to watch videos on YouTube. Those are useful for quick fixes for things, but this—and maybe I’m wrong—needs a new mindset on my part.

I’ll let you know how it goes!
