Travel Travails

What are your future travel plans?

Actually, I have nothing to say here today about the travails of traveling, but I did want to comment about these prompts, which seem to be repeating themselves a bit, with minor variations. Since I try to not repeat myself (though I don’t always succeed), I’d like the prompts to be more varied.

As for the question: I have been wanting to travel to Greece for some time, and I hope it’s still there when I finally get the chance. I understand the wildfires there are a major cause of concern.

We do have a trip to the UK planned for the fall. I am looking forward to visiting Shakespeare’s birthplace, Stonehenge, and a host of other perhaps less theatrical locations, though I am sure I can impart my own sense of theatricality there. I’ve heard Wales-watching can be fun. Also, perhaps, if I try haggis, I’ll either need to suppress my reaction (I’ve heard negative things) or let my response dictate my facial expression—in other case, a moment of theatre.

Just another meta-moment here—I get a daily report on my posting, and have now been posting daily for four months. That seems like a lot! But the way to do it is, literally, one day at a time. And over that time I have collected 85 followers, so thank you all! (And tell your friends; I keep seeking the magic number of 100 in various things, and this would be a good landmark to reach too.) Also, please like and follow!
