When I Think About Me, I…um…

What’s your favorite thing about yourself?

I always thought that the popular song, referenced in my title, would be a good anthem for an egotist. Hopefully you know what song I mean, but I’ll link to it anyway, and you can join my earworm club for the day.

As for my favorite thing about me, I’d have to say my creativity. It seems nonstop, much sometimes to the chagrin of the people around me. I constantly improv, speak in strange voices, or sing songs with altered lyrics. (I once did this and a student looked at me and said in a strained and raspy voice, “Those aren’t the words!!” No; that was the point.)

Of course this creates a problem time-wise. How can I ever do something with all the creative ideas, inspirations, and (lately) absolutely crazy ChatGPT prompts that come to mind? And the answer is: whenever I can. Yesterday, Adobe Premiere and my laptop were at war so my latest short video is delayed, but I should have more about that series of videos soon.
