I just added my Merch page, and was horrified to see that I have so few products listed—only a few Tshirts, mugs, and tote bags for Immaculate Misconceptions and Audio Chimera.
I have always known about the importance of merchandising. I even included a reference to it in my short play, Aliens! 3 Miles, Turn Left; The Man is planning to open a roadside showplace, and–though his thought processes might be skewed–he does understand the importance of merchandising! “That’s where the real money is. ‘I Visited the Aliens’ T-shirts, caps, mugs, key-rings, bumper-stickers, everything. I start ordering all this stuff, thinking Pat [his wife] won’t mind, since we’re going to be rich real soon.”
As a board member of the non-profit Artistic Prosperity, I suggested early on the addition of merch. It too exists on Zazzle.
In the past, on a different site (cafepress.com), I had the really complete line of things. Just like The Man quoted above, I had the caps, T-shirts, mugs, and et ceteras. I really need to complete the inventory once I get this musofyr.org site up and running. In the meantime, please take a wander over to Zazzle for some things Musofyr-related; more to come!
