Hunee in the Hunny Pot

If you could make your pet understand one thing, what would it be?

Hunee is over a year old now, and still a bit skittish rather than kittenish. She lets me pet her and does this thing where she’ll stand on two legs to meet me.

And she’ll want to be petted until she doesn’t and just walk away. I guess that’s typical cat behavior.

But I would love for her to be a lap cat. In the early days she’d sleep between my legs when I was asleep or lie against my legs when I sat in bed to watch TV. And only recently has she returned to the bed at night; I have found her between my legs the last couple of nights.

Most of the day she sleeps on the bed with only pillows and stuffed companions…

…or somewhere with Casey…

…or in one of the many little CatBnBs available.

I wish she knew she’s welcome to join me at any time.
