Happy Shiny People!

Who are your current most favorite people?

Optimists! Or maybe just not people who are negative about…well, about everything. (I won’t say anymore about that right now, lest I be negative.)

Speaking of optimists, I recently joined the Chamber of Commerce (as StoryZ, our new theatre/performance group—and I look forward to a time when I don’t have to explain StoryZ, just say the name). My goal is to network with local business owners, and hopefully find venues in which we can perform, or make other beneficial connections, such as borrowing costumes, sponsorships, etc.

My current favorite people are those I’ve met at Chamber events who say things to me like, “Here’s my card! I want to hear more about what you are doing!” Or “I want to sign up for the Improv workshop, it sounds interesting!” Or calling me as a follow-up asking me if I need any costumes right now.

I hope to continue hearing these kinds of supportive responses. It does take a village, after all.
