Another piece from my back catalogue has resurfaced and been completed with the use of AI. Longtime collaborator Jeremy dePrisco took the song I had written and made a recording of it, with some flavoring of Frank Zappa, I believe. I’ve long wanted to do the music video, maybe in Second Life, but AI made it somewhat practical. And a bit unintentionally humorous as well if you look at people’s faces closely. (It may scare you back across the Uncanny Valley.)
This is also a good example why to keep digital files; this was much easier to put together with the help of the storyboards I had hand-drawn and then scanned. At some points, I looked at the storyboard page and said, “Oh, that’s what picture goes there!” Very useful.
Again, we do see some of the limitations of AI, or maybe it’s my limited use of prompts. Most importantly to me, though, it’s now out there.
That was brilliant you guys! Bless you!
