I took a lengthy break from daily blog posts while on a tour of the UK. You’ll be able to read more about that soon, as I dissect the torture—er, I mean vacation trip through England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales.
Part of the torture came from an intestinal bug that luckily affected only Joyce and me. Had that become widespread it certainly would have overtaxed the on-bus bathroom (“Emergencies and #1s only, please!”). Luckily that bout of illness was short-lived.
Then, what began as random coughing from various travelers, translated into colds for us. Along with Stonehenge T-shirts, we brought that back as well. So I’m still trying to get clear-headed enough to write more.

Well I’m glad that you and Joyce are back from your vacation safe, if not entirely healthy. The tour you took is on my bucket list. I have been growing a designated investment to pay for the tour for many years. However, the before dawn rise and shine schedule is inhuman, maybe evil. I look forward to hearing more about your trip. I may create a checklist with yes or no option.
