A Panoply of Typlos

Yes, that was deliberate.

But I’m sure the errors I constantly find in game ads that continue to parade across my screen are not deliberate. Yet they do amuse me.

For example:

The voiceover says, “Delete that rubbish,” so we know that the caption happened through human error.

However, this one seems to not be the result of human intervention:

She claims to be “a Vegas snob” in the video so the software that provides the closed captioning made that error.

But this is clearly an English as a second language problem. Just read it the way it says. It shouts, “I do not know English!”

And finally, we have this example.

Their narration must be by an AI voice that reads this as it is written. It says: “long trio.” I really think it means a long trip, so that one key over on the keyboard just creates a little bit of a problem.

And a laugh line for me.
