Scammy Oysters

From Alice in Wonderland, in “The Walrus and the Carpenter” poem regarding the oysters: “And thick and fast they came at last, and more and more and more!”

This describes my current week with the wrong number scammers, but one had a notable difference. Instead of following the playbook as usual, they went rogue and confused the message (and me) completely).

It started off with what seemed like a Chinese cookie fortune. I forgot it was there for two days, and then replied along that line.

I have no idea who Vivian is.
At this point everything is following along the usual lines; she says I’m her female friend and I send a picture of “me” to confirm.

But things take an odd turn. She sends me my photo and asks a provocative question:

Oh, now we’re back on track of the usual script!
Siri would not spell it “Jenny.” I let it go.

I assume we’re finished with this “conversation,” but as I said, it did swerve off on an odd tangent!
