The world has been taken over by the Computer Age and the Information Age. Except for those barred from participating by technological or financial barriers, almost everyone has some access to technology. And certainly those who work in university settings use technology constantly.

Pet Peeve Alert!
#1: There’s Reply and Reply All. When you receive an email that’s been sent to a group and you need to reply to the sender, please use Reply. We don’t need to know the details of your upcoming surgical procedure that will prevent you from attending whatever the email is inviting you to.
#2: Back in the day, you had to post to several lists to get the message out. It was a new thing, and people didn’t like getting multiple messages. So people apologized for cross-posting. Now, we know it happens. We can easily delete and ignore. So why do we still see this?

Seriously, it’s okay.
That reply-all button is a pet peeve but also a necessary evil when responding to the Bride and Groom, Coordinator, Concierge, and vendors.
