I’m releasing this blog post on the day of my scheduled echo and stress tests. I’m hoping they find nothing abnormal, give me the proverbial clean bill of health, and that the strange sensations I’ve been experiencing are just me being hyper aware of my body, or perhaps the effects of mental stress.
I’ve not had a stress test before (in spite of life as a college professor doing theatrical productions being a simulacrum of that) so I’m going in with some trepidation. And since they’ve scheduled my two tests for 7:00am (and “Please arrive 15 minutes early”?!), that seems like enough stress to me! Hopefully, all will go well, and you will soon read the positive results.
